About Mon Pere

Mon Pere (pronounced mon-pair) is French for My Father. Mon Pere was birthed out of a burning desire to end generational cycles of dysfunction as a result of physically and emotionally absent fathers.  Fathers play a paramount role in shaping the lives of their children.  Studies have shown that social problems correlate more strongly with fatherlessness than with any other factor-surpassing race, social class, and poverty.  I wholeheartedly believe that the answer to our social problems begins with addressing the importance of the fathers presence and the impact it has on the children.  If we can heal the father, we can heal the family. If we heal the family, we can heal the world.

OUR VISION

Mon Pere’s vision is to end the epidemic of fatherlessness. To live in a world where children and families are led by emotionally sound and present fathers.

OUR MISSION

To disrupt the generational cycle of fatherlessness by fashioning a positive, emotional connection between the Father and his children. Creating fashion pieces that spark conversations about why a present father matters. Mon Pere was created as an outward reminder for fathers to intentionally show up physically and emotionally in the lives of their children, while simultaneously healing their own father wounds. Modeling by example, they set the tone and future standard for fathers to love and lead their families and future generations.
