As someone who’s addressing the residue of my own childhood trauma through professional counseling, I know first hand the lasting impact an emotionally absent father can have in the lives of their children-even into adulthood.  Having (subconsciously) passed down some of the same generational trauma I inherited to my fatherless son, it wasn’t until I witnessed him repeat the exact pattern of dysfunction that something finally clicked. It was then that I was able to identify the generational pattern handed down from several generations before that I knew I had to do something to end this destructive cycle. This was the catalyst for birthing Mon Pere. My desire is to see those like myself and my son heal from their trauma so that they can live a fulfilled, abundant, productive life and become the change agents needed in their families to end the generational patterns of dysfunction.
